Chair Force gets M4A1
Much of the Air Force still has M16A2s. I don't keep up with what SF and AFSOC are issuing.

If you want to call the world's most powerful air force the chair force then you can call the other branches the Ground Pounders, Jarheads, Deck Swabbers, and Boat Police. Chair Force is insulting in the context in which you used it.

ugaarguy,
don't feel bad half the people that makes jokes and comments like that have never been in the military in the first place. wonder if he puts the para jumpers in that same group as part of the "chair force". they just happen to be some of the most highspeed operators there are.

My unit gets the M4, I've seen a lot of other units with the M16A2 though. (Army)

As for M4A1s, they're a SOCOM item.

Not always. Some non-SOCOM units get M4A1's, such as Army LRS (Airborne) detachments. They do alot of high-speed stuff, but are division-level assets of non-SOCOM units.
