I have a couple of bullpup shotguns. Ones a TriStar Saiga and the other is an Escort BTS12...basically a bullpup Panzer AR12.

They're both great guns. The Escort is pretty much reliable with everything I've thrown at it. The Saiga is a Saiga, if that gives you any idea. It's perfectly reliable with anything I'd consider for self defense though.

I want something name brand though, eh. I'd prefer the TS12 because my left arm is paralyzed and bullpups are simply more comfortable to shoot all day one handed. I don't think any self defense scenario would last long enough for that to matter though lol.

I'm so torn here. I want the Benelli but they're so expensive and hard to find. Then I gotta make it compliant if I wanna change the stock and tube. That's no big deal but it's definitely inconvenient.

The Tavor would be nice. I have two bullpups already though, and I trust both of them just fine.

The Versa Max is cheaper and everyone goes on about how well they shoot. I just don't get as excited about it as the others for whatever reason.

If money wasn’t an object I’d get an M4, otherwise I’d get a V3. You have mentioned two different Remington models though. Which one are you considering.

The V3. I just called it a Versa Max at the end since it's basically a shorter Versa Max...at least I think it is?

Beretta 1301? They are a bit less expensive than the M4 and arguably a better gun. They also seem easier to find.

I think the Beretta is really interesting. There's not a lot of bad things said about them and they look pretty cool. I just don't see any reason to own one when I already have two gas operated semi auto shotguns.

Obviously the three I'm asking about are gas operated but I'll try to make sense of things here.

The TS12 is a semi auto bullpup like I prefer. It has a lot more going for it than either of mine though. IWI's reputation is a huge plus. From a purely functional standpoint, it's tube fed instead of box fed, and it holds 15+1 rounds out of the box. It's even more compact than my other ones.

The M4 uses a self regulating gas system that's shown to be incredibly reliable, and it's arguably the most proven shotgun of all time.

The V3 is a blatant M4 clone. It's an M4 clone that people often call the softest shooting 12ga they've ever handled though. Plus it's relatively cheap compared to a real Benelli.
