Anyone experienced with a mac 1 tuned dicovery? I'm only getting 12 shots from 2000psi-1000psi. Tried backing out the power adjuster 6 full turns and only got up to 15. As set by Tim, accuracy was best shots 2-5. I've been testing jsb 18.1 dome, 14.3 dome & 15.? pointed and 22 or 23gr . Benjamin 14.3 dome, HP and 18.1 H/N barracuda hp. Found best accuracy with both 18's with power backed off 1-1 1/2 turns.
Most are writing they get 20 with the stock setup. I don't have a chrony to check the speed, I'm just going by shot count & accuracy at 10m. No instructions with his tune, so I don't know how many turns I can back off his setting. I would like at least 20 useable shots, hand pumping is a pain every 10 shots.
With the accuracy so bad with 14.3gr, the 15gr are not dome so I'm not including those in my tests, and the 18.1gr tightening up when backing off, I think the discovery is shooting very hot. I realize accuracy should keep improving with more lead down the barrel.
