Bush himself enjoys shooting but till he gets re-elected he won't make noise about it.
When I was working for my NBC affiliate, my first producer's boyfriend was one of Bush's bodyguards (DPS trooper, ex-Force Recon Marine) when he was governor, and I asked him (this was just around when he got elected, so he wasn't bodyguarding for Bush anymore, but Perry) about that, and he said Bush enjoys deer hunting, some birdhunting I think, and hitting the range occasionally. He's not a die-hard every-day-at-the-range type but he gets there when he can (being governor of one of the largest states in the country kind of sucks up your time you know?).
