Things seem to change so often; is there any way to keep track of which popular scopes are made by the Chicoms? Thanks...
Only if it's made in ChinaIsn't it the law that they have to put "Made in China" on that stuff
They usually say "Made in China" on them somewhere.
That's Customs requirement, AFAIK. Country of origin has to be marked on the merchandise or its packaging, or Customs will refuse the shipment entry.Isn't it the law that they have to put "Made in China" on that stuff?
call Wal-Mart "China-Mart" these days.
The only for sure USA product that I buy there is WWB.
I wasn't trying to suggest that they were all Japanese, just that even the low end Bushnell's were pretty decent quality. If you don't want something just because it is made in China, I can respect that, but there is the occasional good product. I have some low end Bushnells that have served me well, not great glass, but they hold zero and just plain hold together...are their better optics?..Sure, but not at a better price.Mav, My 2 bushnells are made in China and Korea. Neither are high dollar scopes, it would be pushing it to say there weren't bargain basement scopes. Still haven't fired the rifle one is mounted on.
My point, other than to ramble, was that even bushnells are coming from China now.
