Posting a 'bare link' - ESPECIALLY to a video - is bad form. There's usually some commentary at the site that can be copied and pasted, if not, a short description is in order...

Eric Lemoine of Black Aces Tactical shows us the Black Aces Tactical Pro Series 5 kit for the Mossberg 500/590(A1) that will allow you to accept off the shelf Saiga 12 magazines.

Seems like a waste that you need an aftermarket receiver.

But it's America, so we can! Here in Canada, we got mag fed Rem 870 clones and Rem 1100 clones from Norinco, on the most part they're better than what these guys are offering on the M500 platform. $400 approx. and you can get them in 12.5'' 14'' and 15'' barrel lengths.

I think it's pretty cool. Allows you to have a shorter mag tube which improves the balance of the gun while still retaining good mag capacity. Though to be honest, I'd probably never buy one, just because I have these notions of how various guns "should be". And a pump shotgun "should be" fed from a tube. But I can certainly see the usefulness of it.

Kinda surprised there aren't more mag-fed pumps out there.

So the mag holds six rounds....
and requires you to purchase another "firearm" (the serial numbered receiver).
and Saiga mags are not cheap nowadays too.

Um, no thanks.

Higher mag capacity in a 590 anyway...sure you can't reload as fast but you can reload on the fly...try loading a mag while moving and handling the gun. Bet the tacticool zombie hunters will buy them though.

On the shotgun in the video a shorter mag tube is not an option. The end of the mag tube secures the barrel via a lug near the muzzle.

Yeah, do not want. I would rather have the ability to top off the mag tube. One of a shotgun's advantages is that there are no magazines, and that they are relatively quick to top off.

I will add, cool idea though, just not for me.
