To any fellow Shield owners,
I recently sent my Shield to Smith and Wesson for repairs on my mag release. For, some reason my 8 rd mag was not ejecting properly from the pistol. Well, I got it back yesterday and the pistol does eject both magazines now.
However, my buddy has a Shield as well and when we were on the range I had him test my mags out on his pistol(this is prior to sending my pistol in for repair). I noticed a stronger release from his pistol compared to mine. He was able to rotate his pistol until the magazine was parallel with the ground and my mags shot out his pistol with enough force the whole mag shot out and then dropped to the ground.
I really don't feel like sending my pistol back in for repairs because I guess you can say its technically fixed but, I didn't if the pistol magazines should eject out with force like my friend's Shield.
I am new to pistols so I am open for all suggestions/ideas.
