Mag release on FNH/Browning High Power 9mmNATO pistols...

Can any members tell me if a gunsmith can change the mag release on a FNH high power pistol for left handed use? I am looking into a new SFS type high power online and I'm left handed.

BTW: I know many shooters use the trigger finger to drop empty mags but I like to use my left thumb.

I don't know the answer to your question, I can only suggest that you email Cylinder & Slide. They have a good reputation and if anyone was capable of the modification they would be.

Never heard of that mod on a HP. Most of us lefty HP lovers are happy to use the left middle finger.

I asked this recently, and the consensus back was NO - there is nobody doing ambi mag release mods for the HP.
