We know he had what seems to be a Glock and a P22.

So what size magazines were recovered since Helmke is assuming he was using 15 plus rounders?

Thanks

The stuff I read everywhere talks about the 30 round extended mags.

But would he really have stayed home if he only had access to 10 round mags?
Would the fact that he'd have to reload a few more times have made him change his mind?

The whole idea that the number of rounds in a magazine changes anything is beyond my comprehension.

thats what I would like to know, the 22 probably had a ten round mag but what did the glock have?

It sounds to me like he might have had a combination of 15 and 10 round magazines (it was a G19 right?)

The P22 only has ten round mags, though I read once ages ago that you can get different followers for them to bump the capacity up to 13.

Let's not get hung up on the hardware.

Since nobody else was armed, he would have had plenty of opportunity to do this damage even if he had been using a SxS shotgun, a revolver, or even a bolt action rifle.

Let the anti-freedom crowd scream about the weapons, we need to elevate the discussion beyond that point to state that the crazies can't be stopped from doing bad things, and that is why good people need to have the tools to counter them.

It is not the weapon, it is the warrior.

It's important in that the antis are screaming he used magazines over 10 rounds.

The mag count becomes pseudo-relevant because:

There isn't a realistic gun control bill in play to ban handguns, or to force licencing/registration.

The only factor that can be tied to a realistic piece of federal gun legislation is the connection with the Assault Weapon ban, which includes a ban on mag capacity.

With victims that are totally defenseless, even single loading a revolver would be no problem.
