I just wanted to let you guys know that I found some NIB mags for the 709 Slim at a reasonable price.

Everyone seems to be out of stock and backordered. One guy on Ebay is getting $90+.

Anyway, the site is Delta3outfitters.com, currently selling for $35.00 plus shipping. Mods, I apologize in advance if I am making a plug for a business that I'm not supposed to.

No one but these guys seem to have these mags for sale at a decent price. I ordered three for myself.
 
I couldn't believe how hard mags for the 709 are to find.. Mine came with 2, NIB, SS version. I believe the blued only came with one.
 
just an FYI, that place you mentioned is out of stock.

I orded two 709 mags from them about 2months ago and still have not received it. They sent me an email saying they are out of stock and only taking backorders, but they won't charge your credit card until the magazines are in stock and when they ship to you.
 
Excellent gun, accurate, easy to shoot, but no mags., just wait it out I guess,
most places have them on back order.
 
This is a pretty common problem for Taurus autoloaders other than the PT-92 and PT100 (Beretta clones in 9mm & .40S&W, don't use Beretta mags but these are readily available from Mec-Gar)
 
Justice is right. I got my email yesterday from them. Fellow named Brad said it would probably be a couple of months, however he really was not for sure exactly when they would be in.

I told him ok. I'll take my magazines when they arrive.

Sorry about the false hope that they were in stock. It sure appears to be that way when you place your order.
 
Has anyone tried to modify the Hi Point C9 8 round mags to work in their 709?

I'm thinking about grabbing an 8 or 10 round C9 mag just to test it and use it for range use, and keep my factory mags for CC.
