I finally made my mind up and got one. Hopefully its a shooter. i had a couple of extra new Nikon 5x20x44 scopes left so I mounted one of them. Havent got to shoot it yet but hopefully tomorrow.

What is the weight of the gun without scope??

I believe it was around 4.3lbs. It's the Barracuda Pepper model.

They (MR) make a nice looking rifle, mine WAS a 17 Mach II until it fired OOB... NOW it's a MR receiver with all KIDD components in 22 LR! I'd lower the scope...

I found a Magnum Research at a local pawnshop brand new. It was a 22LR with the hogue stock and carbon fiber wrapped barrel. I couldn't believe how awesome that thing felt. I can't cough up the 850$ he want's for it though. I might bite at 700 for the 22LR. might.
