I have only been able to find magnum pistol primers localy (and feeling lucky to find those).
I'm loading 9mm and .38 special at aprox. 1000 and 800 fps respectivly with regular primers and American Select powder. Will I notice any adverse effects by using magnum primers. Not really concerned about pressure because these loads arent near max...more worried about accuracy.

Thanks,
Jason

No, probably no noticeable difference.

I have seen some Ransom rest tests that indicate standard primers are slightly more accurate.

But I don't think most of us could see it standing on our hind legs shooting a pistol.

As long as you are not already shooting MAX loads it shouldn't be a biggy.
