I am probably a million years too late on this but I found out today that Travis Haley left Magpul

I really liked the dynamics videos and he was a good instructor with clear messages and teachings

I did on the other hand find out that they are making a video called "The Art of the Precision Rifle" anyone else excited for this?

I was very impressed with the rest of the series (carbine 1&2 pistol shotgun and even aerial platform) and hope they continue the series maybe into some more specific rolls such as revolver or AK maybe even one dedicated to concealed carry

what are your thoughts?

Dunno what to say.

Will I pay money for Magpul videos? No. Will I bum them off a freind? Yes.

Will I get bored halfway thru and never finish it? Yes.

Do I care if someone leaves the company? no. Not in the least.

Do I think its great that people take the time and money to make videos like them? yes. I think its excellent.

Just not my bag if you know what I mean.

I don't follow Magpul too closely but their Masada was sweet, and the videos I've seen of their other products were interesting. I was all ready to buy the Masada (now Bushmaster ACR) when it came out but instead of Magpul's estimated $1500 MSRP Bushmaster released it for twice that. I hope they come out with some more good products.

The Masada had a gas system that ate rings up like a cheerios commercial and needed a complete redesign, not to mention it would have been their first foray into manufacturing firearms. Their 1500 price point was wishful thinking, they were just smart enough to dump the project off for cash and contracts to be parts vendors.

Hmm I'm not too familiar with the Magpul Dynamics series, but I do like some of their products, like the MIAD grips and PMAGs.
