Have a 1972 Browning Hi-Power 9mm with one 13 rd factory mag. I'd like to find another factory mag for it. Have seen references on the net to Browning BDM 10 rd 9mm mags for around $12. Will these work in an older Browning? Any recommendations for online sources selling 13 rd factory mags?

Thanks

Hello, the BDM magazine will not work in your Hi Power - they're different guns.

CDNN and MidwayUSA usually carry factory Hi Power mags.

Good luck!

The BDM is not a Hi Power.

Before you start buying mags online, read this excellent review of the various HP magazines http://www.ont.com/users/kolya/bhpmagfaq.htm

Note that MecGar of Italy is an OEM for Browning and FN Hi Power magazines. I have had nothing but great results from using MecGar.

Beware of any Hi Power mags from Sportsmans Guide- the FN Portuguese Military contract mags they have advertised are really Indian military surplus and are quite a bit below FN standards.

Almost every gunshow will have a mag & clip dealer who should have MecGar mags.

Midway is a great source for FN Hi Power mags.
CDNN will have HP mags from time to time.
Ebay does not allow the listing of anything over ten rounds.
