I rarely ever hear anyone talk of these,are they a good protection round? Or better stay away?

Before I switched to gold dots I carried the 230gr +P .45 guardian gold ammo in my SIG P220. reliable, accurate (a bit dirty!) and inexpensive.

I have shot the Magtech Guardian Gold .38 125 grain +P, and was very impressed. They averaged 1002 fps from a 4 inch GP-100 .357. Great ammo IMO, and a great price too.

Of all the SD rounds I've tested, I found them to be the least reliable. Won't consider using them again, its just not worth a few bucks. Hornady or Gold Dots.
