I went to buy some primers online today and was shocked to find that what I want is out of stock most places.

But I'm seeing Magtech Primers. Frankly I've used these, or even heard of them. Does anyone here have any experience with them? Perhaps on a Dillion machine?

ps: I was really looking for Rem Small Pistol and Win Large Pistol. Does any place you know have both? Thanks. :)

I've loaded a couple thousand 40 S&W rounds with magtech primers, all have gone "bang".:D No problems with them, I would recommend them, and they are cheaper than the rest.:D

I use the large rifle MagTechs. All have gone boom at the appropriate time. I can't say that for the Feds that they replaced though.

Since Federal primers have become scarce, we've started using Magtech primers for our tuned cowboy guns. They've proven to be just as sensitive as the Federals were, and are cheaper by quite a bit. They may become my new favorite primer.

Hope this helps.

I bought some when my usuall Winchester were out, I haven't fired any but I didn't care for the packaging. Half the primers were upsidedown, and I had to do alot of shaking to get them all flipped right.:cuss: But if they all go bang, its all good:D
