Here's a list of guns shows in the noth east for the next few months. We don't get many so when hey do occur it's nice to know ahead of time.
Jan. 8 & 9: Salem , NH @ Rockingham Park Racetrack
Jan. 8 & 9: Manchester, NH @ Radison Hotel, center of NH Expo
Jan. 22 & 23: Waterville, ME @ Champions Fitness Center
Feb. 26 & 27: West Lebanon, NH @ Fireside Inn
Mar. 5 & 6: Seabrook, NH @ Seabrook Greyhound Track
Mar. 19 & 20: Lewiston, ME @ Lewiston Armory
Apr. 16 & 17: Concord, NH @ Everett Arena
Apr. 30 & May 1: Biddeford, ME @ Biddiford Ice Arena

Lewiston and Manchester are proberly the better ones. The other NH shows are kinda prcey because of the proximity to MA. The other are just a waste of time if someone was to ask me. Never been to the W. lebanon one but have heard it's a fairly decent show.

The Waterville one isn't too shabby IMHO. Would like another bathroom other than the one that takes you through the men's shower/locker room.
The Lewiston one is still my favorite. Real nice to be living in the same city. :D

:what: I went to the last one there and it was proberly THE worst sho I'd ever been to. Small and very little in terms of a variety. Cripes, half of it was cheesy trinkets, bumperstickers and poor quailty camo stuff. The few guns that were there were ordinary models and priced poorly.

BlkHawk73,
I agree it's not one of the best, but it's still worth a visit when they are in town. My father has more luck than I do when we go. When we went a couple months back, he picked up a belt buckle mounted on a wood plate for 50 bucks. Being a Civil War buff, and knowing the seller wasn't, he made $200 on the deal. The year before that, he picked up a stainless S&W .22 mag. for a heck of a deal. Dealer thought he was selling a regular .22 and didn't realize what he had until it was in my father's hands. Wish I had his luck. The quality of the shows may have drastically gotten worse over the years, but for a five-spot, you never know what you're gonna find, and there's always somebody you'll run into for some good gun conversation. Hell, the way the world's going today, I don't doubt these shows will some day be extinct.

The only good things I got were from the Augusta shows, whick was hunting ammo for my K-31 and Mosins. I saw a guy selling some milsurps last time, mostly Mosins, but a couple of K-31's too.

Whatever happened to the ammo guy? The one with the plastic totes? I remember seeing him there with his kids, but not in a long while now.
