MAK-90 FCG Help!!!

I have a MAK-90 that I am trying to strip the lower receiver of to refinish. I have gotten everything out except the hammer pin, hammer and the hammer spring. So I am trying to drift the hammer pin out, and it does not seem to want to budge. What am I doing wrong? I don't want to damage the receiver, so I have been gentle so far, but I am strongly considering a BFH to fix it. Are there any websites that give a step-by-step process for this?

Did you remove that Shepherd's Crook wire retainer? It is what holds the FCG pins in. It can be a bit of a bear to remove, so I recommend replacing it with a Red Star Arms retainer plate.
 
thanks for the quick reply. I did get the shepards hook out before I tried to drift the pin out. I spent some time on the web site. I think I may have to resort to WD40 and a BFH when I get home tonight. Thanks again!
