Anyone have recommendations for IWB holster for a Bulgarian Mak?

I have been carrying my Bulgarian PM in a Sticky MD-3 holster. Low profile, conceals well. Not expensive.

Anything made for an Officer-sized 1911 should work pretty well. I am a fan of the Bianchi Covert Option. Looks like this:

That flap at the top keeps the bumpy bits from pressing into your side. I've been using those holsters for the last ten years or so.

OP I should remind you to not use the slide release lever on your gun. I have a Bulgarian Makarov and this part wore out rather quickly, making the slide ram shut when inserting a magazine. Use the slingshot or overhand method to release the slide.

Yes, I do.

Great leather holsters, made & embossed for the Makarov, at a great price. Be prepared to wait 4-6 weeks for delivery, however.
Had some trouble finding the English version of the site-- here it is. Some nice stuff there!

If you want to go cheap and functional, find a shop selling those neoprene uncle mikes holsters. I'm sure they make one that will fit. If you want a little nicer, check out the remora holsters made by tagua. I use one for my Glock 43 and I really dig it.

The reason is that the Soviets designed the slide stop to be the "wear" part. This means that instead of having the actual slide itself wear down when using the release, the cheap stamped slide stop was designed to wear out first. This saves the complex and heavily machined slide from damage. Very clever, today it's best to not use the slide stop as a release to avoid this problem since we can't just turn the pistol into the armorer to get a new slide stop installed for free. ;)

I'll add a +1 to the suggestion for the Falco holster. I have one (IWB) and it is solid and just perfect for the Mak.
