First let clear up something. It won't fire in double action, what does the hammer do? If the hammer stays all the way back and won't release do this test. Pull the trigger in double action when the hammer is all the way back and won't release push the hammer slighly to the left with your finger, if the hammer then releases you have a new 150.00 dollar paperweight.
If this is the problem parts replacement is a waste of time. What is taking place is that the trigger bar is pulling the hammer strut foward almost out of position and cocking the hammer to the side. The cure is that the right strut hole is too big and need to be fixed by welding it closed then re-cut. The trigger bar could be out of spec also, possibly too short.
