Makin' smoke in the new year

Headed on out to the range to start the year off right; six shots 55gr 3f Goex with .454 Hornady balls and crisco at fifty yards gave me this:



Figured it couldn't get any better so I packed up an' left

You could search the world over and you couldn't find a better way to make smoke. Unless you light up a Marlboro 100 Full Flavor...Okay...

Nice group at 50 yards. Those old Colts (and their replicas) are pretty good guns. I know that my 3 are more accurate than I can do them justice.

Thanks for all the kind words, I managed to suprise myself actually... my groups barely look that good at twenty-five yards let alone fifty... guess it helps that for a short while that day the wind actually died down briefly in west Texas.
