Data states that these can be made from .303 British, as per the Cartridge Conversions book. Since I don't have .303 British in my stockpile and since .303 British can be made from .30/40 Krag, I don't see why I can't make .44 Evans Long from .30/40 Krag?
Also, what can I use for does and where can I get them?
Lastly, the book AMAZINGLY gives a smokeless powder load. I shudder at the thought of using anything other than black powder!!!
