anyone in the area that likes to shoot, gonna be working there during the week staying in motel and after work would like to go out shooting, plinking whatever. I guess at the minimum will find a range to go to. not sure how long will be there prob at least a month but will be going home on the weekends

My daughter and her husband lived there for a few years while he was stationed at Ft. Riley. I could ask if they have any recommendations for ranges or places to shoot if that would be of any use to you.

guy from the firing line already gave me a few places in ogden. and yes i understand but to me shady means underhanded and maybe a little evil lol. and its true i havnt posted much over here am more of a lurker i guess. have posted over on firing line quite a bit but got to reading over here and thought i would ask. understand the reason but shady i am not, just a guy that is going to be away from family with a fair amount of time on his hands staying in prob some cheap ass motel room bored to tears, so thought if anyone wanted to shoot it might be fun.

thanks and if they do know of any good ranges in manhattan that would be great
thanks in advance

If Manhattan has a gun shop, you might try calling them and asking about ranges. Or Junction City - I'd almost bet there's at least one gun shop there with all the soldiers around.

Junction City downtown at 920 N Washington, has Godfreys indoor shooting range. Prepare to be impressed. And, next door is Quantico Tactical.

My wife and I always enjoy going to these two places.

I was going to suggest Quantic as a place to start. I live an hour west of Manhattan and we have in indoor range but you have to be a member. I also know some people from around here go to a range in that area. Sounds like you have some ideas now.

I have been told there are several good gun shops in the area between JC and Manhattan because of the fort. I drive by there all the time but never stop. Good luck
