Looks like a nice tight job there, well done.

Also thanks for passing it forward. Sometimes the littlest things help improve the experience a ton for others. ;)

Ijnowell,

I skip back and forth from time to time. I have not been spending as much time posting on Castboolits or Thehighroad.

I felt this project deserved a broader exposer.

Very nice work. Can you explain how the cases get into the tubes? Is the fellow able to slide them around in the tray so they drop into the tubes? What material is the rotary made from?

GarySTL;

The Collator is Lee's standard dump and shake model with 2 mods:

1. A shield over the tubes that prevents cases from falling in before they orient correctly.
2. 1/2 pex tubing placed in the down tubes to restrict the dia for smaller shell cases. .32, .380 9mm etc.

Shaking the collator for about 30 seconds fills the tubes.

The Gear/Cog is made from marine-grade high-density polyethylene I buy scraps and end cuts from a plastics supplier about 2 blocks from my house.
