1911 Manual safety fitting
I am trying to instal an STI extended saftey on my Springer Mil Spec and the sear stop surface interfears with the back of the sear so that it can't be installed with the hammer at full cock. It appears to me that material either has to be removed from either the rear of the sear or the sear stop surface on the saftey. The sear stop surface on the safety appears to be the easier to do. Can you gentlemen give me some guidance here? Thanks in advance.
