I have a pair of Manurhin Special Police F1 revolvers. My understanding these were issue sidearms for the French Police back in the 1970's. The frame of the F1 is very similar to a Ruger Speed-Six however the barrel is different (both my F1's have 3" barrels). Speed-Six grips will fit an F1.
My only experience was with a Manurhin MR 73 .357Mag revolver.
Workmanship , action & trigger feel, accuracy were the absolue best of any and all revolvers I ever shot over the last 20 years. And yes, this includes Colt Pythons and customized S&W's.
.
Not until I bought a SIG P-210/6 did I find a semi-auto equivalent.
