Is a Marble's Game Getter regulated as an 'any other weapon' under US law?

Thanks

I just saw an article about this in a mag, if I find it I'll post more complete info.

From what I remember it is regulated if the barrel is short enough to require it. Worse part (according to the mag) is that if it wasn't registered back in the day by serial number it can't be now.

That's from memory, if I find the article I'll post more.

Yep, along with things like the Handy Gun, the Auto & Burglar, etc. However, the Game Getter IS also listed as a "Curio & Relic", which may allow ownership in some states that normally wouldn't allow these sorts of things.

From the Bardwell FAQ:

" An AOW is:
"...any weapon or device capable of being concealed on the
person from which a shot can be discharged through the
energy of an explosive, a pistol or revolver having a smooth
bore designed or redesigned to fire a fixed shotgun shell,
weapons with combination shotgun and rifle barrels 12" or
more, less than 18" in length, from which only a single
discharge can be made from either barrel without manual
reloading, and shall include any weapon which may be readily
restored to fire. Such term shall not include a pistol or
revolver having a rifled bore, or rifled bores, or weapons
designed, made or intended to be fired from the shoulder and
not capable of firing fixed ammunition." 26 U.S.C. sec.
5845(e)."

Thanks for the info

Too bad they are no longer manufactured, they look kinda neat.

I wonder how many transferrables of these there are?

My grandfather has one, and it was a $5 C&R transfer fee. Its a neat little gun and if it were not for the paper work I think they would be a great woods gun to this day. His has a leather holster and folding stock, so its very light and handy. I would like to own it one day, but we can't have SBS's or SBR's in Alabama.
