I'm a Marine, and we use an ACOG on our rifles and carbines. One click is 1/3" at 100 meters, 1" at 300 meters, etc.

The problem is that we shoot in yards at the range.

This is a page from the USMC databook we use when firing.

What's up with the clicks per inch with yards? With meters, it's 1/3" per click on both windage and elevation at 100 meters. Why is it two clicks per inch at 200 yards, but only one for elevation?

Can someone provide me with a full list of clicks per inch in yards and meters?

I've looked for a calculator but didn't find anything.

The 200 yard "1 click" entry is in error.
Yards are just a bit off from meters, so the other entries are close.

Does anyone know the precise clicks for meters? I know it won't be even numbers. Or if someone could tell me how to do the math, I'd appreciate it.

Actually the ACOG adjusts with 1/3 MOA clicks. A MOA is 1.05 inches per hundred yards. But you are over-thinking this. Just assume your clicks are 1/3" per hundred yards (which is close enough for zeroing purposes), and adjust as necessary to get on target. Zero with the tip of the chevron on center mass at 100 yards. The ACOG reticle is graduated in meters, but the POI difference for the M-16/M-4 between 100 yards and 100 meters is negligible. If you zero this way, the BDC reticle will be accurate for all other distances.
