The Sheriff's Department is looking into allegations that North County deputies used excessive force tasers and pepper spray on Marines at a party over the weekend!

If as reported, the Marine made a fist and threatened to do physical harm against the cop, then nope, not for the initialy zap.

Did the Marine immediate cease at that time? Unknown. Drunks don't always respond to tasing by collapsing. He very well may have gotten madder and gotten zapped repeatedly until he was fully compliant.

Who knows, who cares, when did it become our business to draw conclusions with or without all the facts, and what will it change when it gets overanalyzed on this forum, bashers come out to play, arguments ensue, and the thread gets locked?

I guess a better question is why are there so many of these ridiculous threads? Last I checked there has never been any conviction affirmed, lawsuit settled, or groundbreaking legal precedent as a result of an internet forum debate.
