Anybody else have an issue really Honing in a shot with these? I ended up ordering and replacing with target sites. Made for much smaller grouping.
I always had a hard time finding the edges of the front optic due to blur and would easily shoot just left or right thinking I had it centered.
maybe it's just my eyes.

I agree. They work fine for self defense but there are really a lot of better sights available for target work.

First thing I thought of when I got my 22/45. I may change mine out.

Vee notch is for quick target acquisition. That Vee notch and large fiber optic on the Mark III Hunter makes it tough to hit a squirrels head at 25 yards, although the firearm is quite capable of doing so.
Meanwhile the Single Six Hunter comes with excellent sights, a brass disc on the front and a nice adjustable rear site.
In the end I ended up putting a scope on the Single Six to make use of it's long range capability, and a red dot on the Mark III to facilitate running bunny shots...

Agreed. I bought mine as an upgrade over the regular MkIII for target work. Never liked the sights, so I put a red-dot on it. Didn't like the red--dot and ended up selling the Hunter and keeping my original MkIII.

I ended up getting a little creative after getting the square notch from Ruger.
Picked up some model car white and some glow green for the front blade.
Sorry the pics are so grainy.
