I Was wondering if someone has an idea how to decipher the freaking hieroglyphics on Eastern European ammo spam cans.
I just bought some 7.62x54R that arrived in spam cans. All I can tell from the markings on the spam cans is the bullet diameter (7,62) and the number of rounds (440). Nothing else, no date, no case length, just a bunch of jibberish.
I don't understand why they use a comma instead of a decimal point.
Thanks.
