I seem to have hit a plateau.

If I can drill the center once, I should be able to do it consistently, right?

Apart from the obvious, "practice", any tips on improving my shooting at 50yds from a rest?

thnx

Read the third shooting link in my signature.

You mantra, as you start to press the trigger, while looking at the sights, should be, "Stay in the Process; Ignore Where the Shots Might Strike"

Thanks

and, yes, I've shot some match ammo but most of it seemed to be "standard" velocity and didn't cycle the MKII consistently

Maybe that's the best accuracy I can get from the CCI's.

And since I have a lot of it, I guess that's what I'll work with.

It's not a laser. Mounted in a solid rest, a handgun (or the vast majority of handguns anyway) won't drill the center every time at 50 yds.

BTW my groups look like that at 15 yds. If I'm lucky. LOL

Are you complaining? Or bragging?

I might have to get one of those!

To me the most important item is consistancy. Head position, hold on the gun, trigger squeeze ect. Each and every shot sould be exactly the same. Also remember that each shot is a "one shot match". Once the round is down range there is nothing you can do about it. So forget it and move on to total concentration on the shot you are working on. I hope some of this helps.
