Marlin 1870-1970 Comm. 30-30 info needed

Hi & Merry Christmas to everybody.

I have a lead on a Marlin 1870-1970 Centennial Comm. 30-30.

Haven't seen it yet but owner says it has only minor scratches and bluing is at 90% or better,bore is great and no rust any place.

I know you can't make a real accurate assessment without seeing a picture of it,but was wandering if maybe I could get some ballpark range as to what these rifles are going for these days.

The best way I have found to get a range of market value is to go to www.gunsamerica.com and to www.gunbroker.com and see what the item you are interested in is going for.

It is not perfect, and most prices are a bit high, but you can at least get an idea.
