I came across a used Marlin 882SS .22 mag in a shop.
Nice little rifle.
I looked at the Marlin website and that model is apparently dis-continued, replaced by the 980 series.
Is there really all that much difference between the guns?
Was there a problem with the 882's that caused them to be discontinued?t
