Marlin 39 stock question - help!

Hi all! If I wanted to manufacture a custom stock for a newer Marlin Golden 39A, what are the dimensions of timber that I would need? I haven't actually got my gun here at the moment but I thought I might order some nice figured timber for a little home project...:)

If anyone can give me some dimensions which would obviously take into account the forearm grip of the rifle that'd be much appreciated!
 
VERY similar to 336 if you can find one to measure.

I'm not being an *******; I'd measure the 39A for you if I had it here.:)

My 39A is off to Marlin to get its extractor fixed, and the 39M has a real different buttstock.

(I don't have a 336, either, just an 1894)
