Marlin .480 Lever Carbine

In their 2005 Catalog, Marlin had listed an 1895 lever action carbine in .480 Ruger/.475 Linebaugh. I guess it's been discontinued. Any reasoning behind this? Low sales, problems?

Probably low sales.....

Ammo in that caliber is not cheap. Would make a dandy swamp deer rifle though.....chris3
