I have a problem with a fairly new Marlin 925 M .22 mag rifle. Actually, I've had it a few years but since I found this problem when it was new it's just been sitting in the safe. Anyway.....it won't strip and feed rounds from the magazines, either one. It appears that the magazines are being held high enough into the receiver. The nose of the rounds smack into the feed ramp and hang up as I work the bolt; however, if I apply upward force on the bottom of the magazine while working the action they strip and feed just fine.
Any thoughts on an at home fix?
Any experiences with the factory? I shouldn't have waited this long to address the issue but it came this way from the factory so I'm thinking and hoping they can make it right.
