Use better magazines. It's almost a certainty that your magazine springs are simply too sacked out to properly pin the rounds to the feed lips, causing the bolt-over-base feed malfunctions you're describing.
I am using four new Chip McCormick Power 10 mags and each one has the same problem. They could still not have the spring pressure I need as you said. I will test some standard 7 round mags and see what happens.

For what it's worth, I have had uniformly bad luck with any 10-round-or-greater 1911 magazine. The spring tension simply varies too much between fully-loaded and almost-empty for them to be 100% reliable...
Also - I am not a fan of CMc Shooting Star magazines in general; the springs aren't the best, and I've become convinced that the follower design isn't the bees knees, either. At this point, all of my 1911 magazines are USGI or Kimber/SA 7 round bodies-and-followers with Wolff 11lb springs. That combination has proven to be 100% reliable for many thousands of rounds in multiple 1911 pistols as well as in my 45 Camp Gun.

I have a Marlin Camp 45. In mine, the CMC Shooting Star 8 rounders work just fine. I have two 10 round CMC Power Mags, one of which works well, the other causes occasional failures.
When buying magazines for the Camp 45, make sure you get mags with a square cutout in the top back of the magazine. Those will round cutouts will not work because they cause the bolt to bind when going forward.

While you're dealing with Wolff, don't forget to order the beefed-up recoil spring the MCC 45 needs to avoid split stocks (in back of the receiver).

FWIW, my McCormick 10 rounders work just fine.
The other thing to do is to make sure the feed ramp has been assembled correctly. If it's trapped under the barrel, unmoving, IT'S WRONG. You should be able to poke it from below, and it will move freely against spring tension. It's easy to fix, and easy to forget upon reassembly, because it naturally "wants" to go under the barrel.

I had already changed the recoil spring but the stock split right behind the receiver. I removed a small amount of wood in that area but I was too late.
The ramp is in the right place - now! I found and repaired the ground off area at the lower edge of the bolt face. The carbine was from a gun show so I don't know the history. The bolt must have been hitting the top edge of a magazine so someone just cut metal off of the bolt face where it picks up the next round. I welded the damaged area and reshaped it square and the feed problems have gone away. I also had to remove lots of wood under the barrel so I would have $1.00 clearance and now I can shoot at rest clays at 100 yards with fairly good luck using a BSA Red Dot sight.
The next time I buy a firearm I will ask the list about it so I can save lots of time and trouble fixing things the factory should have done.

And this one *must* have a decent recoil buffer, can't remember if mine is Buffertech (like all the rest) or from Marlin, but the original rubberized bolt recoil block had turned to dust. PITA to clean, don't know why I love it so.
I mailed my broken wood stock (got it that way) back to Marlin. They mailed me a nice new one, made for me. Even had the tigerstripe grain I asked (presumptously) for. Great customer service for a product-with-a-few-design-problems.
Wolff springs. I got both the 16.5 and the 20? pounder... YMMV.

I bought a Marlin Camp .45 on the idea of being able to interchange mags with my 1911's. Great idea, but lousy execution, IMO. Of the 30 or so quality mags I have (Wilson, Ed Brown, McMormick, Colt-factory) only about 4 worked reliably in the Camp. All are reliable in the handguns.

Of the eighteen magazines I use in my 1911s, all eighteen work in my Camp Carbine without a glitch. But then again, I only use standard 7 round magazines with Wolff 11lb springs and the 'proper' dimpled follower.....
I may contact Marlin and see if they will work with me about a new stock - They have been very good about service in the past - The Wolff spring is a 21# - I think the 10 round mags will work with no problems now that I have finished the bolt repairs - The carbine is a very enjoyable firearm to shoot and I am sorry Marlin decided to stop making them.

I can't swear to it, but I think stocks from the camp 9 will fit, perhaps with a bit of woodwork.
