I have a martini cadet that has been relined to 25-20 wcf. Been thinking about putting peep sights on it. Not sure what to use. Any thoughts?

thanks, that's what I'm looking for

Good luck actually finding one, I got one off e-bay that was listed incorrectly for ~$125, I've seen them sell for $350!

I think the #9 PH fits the Cadet also, but is more square, and has a hole through it as is intended for a small frame Martini that can be cleaned from the breach.

The Parker-Hale globe front sight is a lot easier to find.

Most generic "tang sight" that would screw into the wood buttstock would also work (the #8 needs the rear of the receiver drilled and tapped, and wood relived to mount on a Cadet.)

I have a extra tank sight for a 94 winchester. Is adams guns still around? I noticed his website was updated a few years ago. Maybe I'll give him a call.
I have a couple small frame BSA martinis with the I believe the #9 but don't want to pull one.

I just noticed, Adams has a #8 for $300+$10 shipping

He's also got the #7 with the cleaning rod hole for much less.

I'm not an expert here. This rifle was built in the 60's by a machinist for one of his sons , his other son got one too. No significant markings in the sight and it is a little grungy but all I see is "redfield" . I'll add a picture of the front sight too, not that it's necessarily relevant.

I think Parker-Hale also have Martini receiver sights that mount on the flat receiver's port side.

Or you mount a dovetail base on the flat receiver side which the sight slides into.

I have seen quite a few cadets with Bubbaed up receiver flats like the example above ( note the empty hole under the sight, and appears to have only one screw holding the sight on.

I found a no 8 on gunbroker for 160 dollars buy it now. it seemed like a fair deal so I bought it. I see there is different heights but it's for a model 12 so it should be ok, I hope.

not sure what to use for a front sight.
