If that's what their misdemeanor penalty is, I'd hate to see their felony penalties.

Many states cap their misd. penalties at a year.

Who knows where the "historical roots" standard in the Bruen decision will end up? By that standard, the whole NFA should be overturned, because it lacks "historical roots." Somehow, I doubt the Court would go that far. (Although I, personally, would be quite happy if they did.)
