Maryland- help me use my membership!

I just renewed my membership to On Target and was hoping to get a THR shoot in sometime soon and also invite the MD Shall Issue bunch. Actually, I would love to make it a regular thing so I get my moneys worth out of the membership. :) Like the first Thursday of every month or whatever day is best for the most people. If anyone is interested, please post here if there are certain days that are better or worse for you and we'll arrange the first shoot. Then, hopefully we can keep it going! I am itching to shoot the Beretta Storm again!
 
You got a Storm? Or can you rent one there?

You can count me in pretty much anytime. I NEED to shoot more too to get the most value from my membership which I'll have to renew in Feb I think.
 
Hey now, I claim the prize for "Ugliest Pistol Caliber Carbine" with my Han Solo model Hi-Point :D

I'm up for it in principal, though from now to March 12 is going to be a blur of activity as far as work goes. I'll make it if I can, depending on what is going on that night!
 
GWAG and Anapex, pm me with a date that's good for you guys and we'll go from there. I have a babysitter virtually anytime, so I guess whatever you can line up will be easier to work around. I'll start another thread and pm everybody on my "buddy list" with the link to the thread (I have about 60 Maryland THR users on there).

The only dates I cannot make it are the 9th, and 17th through 22nd (I'll be in good ole' Nashville).

I think On Target closes at 9pm? So we'd probably want to get there at 6pm??? Unless we do it on a weekend day.

I'd like to try the Storm.....although it sounds like um....I don't know which one of you to ask!
 
Sorry for starting this thread and then disappearing. I am calling the babysitter tomorrow and then I'll have a better idea of when we can meet up.

I guess I'll reserve a lane now; it sounds like it's getting full.
 
It's about an hour from Frederick; maybe a few minutes less.

Looking forward to spring when we can get another outdoor event at Hap Baker - that's a LOT closer to Frederick, and we don't have to worry about how long we're there.
 
Spot77....see if you can reserve two lanes.....that way someone can shoot with you as a guest and one with me as a guest....cheaper that way.
 
Spot, Were you able to reserve a lane this far ahead? I thought you had to call an hour before. If we can reserve now, I'll do so.
 
No, I didn't call yet. I figured I'd wait until Friday.

If I talk to Ed, he'll probably hold a few lanes for us....anybody else....well who knows.
 
I called On Target today to just make sure that there wasn't anything else going on that would make it hard to get lanes. They said Fridays are always busier but that each member can reserve a lane half an hour before we shoot. I'll call at 5:30 and reserve one for me and one for Dave. Spot and Norton, if you two do the same and anyone else who is a member, we should be good to go. Maybe when we call that day, we can mention that we are all together and hope for the best. As long as we are all on the same side at least, they are pretty good about letting us switch around lanes and shoot each others toys.
So far, I have 11 people who either posted here or e-mailed. Should be good fun!
