The Massachusetts AG, Thomas F. Reilly, has decided that Massachusetts gun owners no longer have the right to order ammunition from out-of-state vendors and has almost completely closed down such purchases. The AGs office has apparently conducted some "sting" operations by ordering ammo and then trying to shake down the vendors by demanding to know if they are "licensed" to sell ammunition in the People's Commonwealth. His strong-arm tactics are succeeding as more and more vendors refuse to sell to Massachuetts residents. The Massachusetts Gun Owners Action League (GOAL) is trying to fight this seemingly illegal attack on interstate commerce but in the meantime ammo is in short supply here in the site of the start of the American Revolution. What the hated Lobsterbacks could not do, a "servant" of the people has succeeded in doing.

This has GOTTA be an Interstate Commerce issue.

In the meantime, there's U-Haul for those REALLY big purchases of .22LR
 
Have a friend out of state order it for you and ship it privately. I get my reloading components from NH just over the border.

This situation is only in the last 6 months. I ordered 12K of 308 from AIM back then and it wasn't an issue. Now it is.

AG Reilly is a coward.

Or magnificant Cardnal Law knew about all his priest buggering kids for the last 40 years, HE KNEW ABOUT IT THE WHOLE TIME! Reilly just brushes it off.

Gun owners want to purchase cheaper ammo, LEGALLY, from an out of state source, and he can't get enough.

Speaking of Bill Gates, AG Reilly is the only State's AG that is STILL suing Microsoft -- all the others agreed with the findings of the federal court settlement.

Seems like all gun owners and Bill Gates need to do is start buggering little kids, and AG Reilly will leave us alone.

He's #1 in my book. :fire:

Does an AG even have the constitutional ability to do any of this? How theheck can he bypass the state congress and even the govenor and act like a God in this manner? How is he doing this? Where does it state he has the power to do this?
 
Western Massachusetts is suppose to be pretty normal. It's the Eastern half of the state that is flaming Kennedy Kountry. If they're lucky, they may have a California earthquake and lose that portion. I hope the Constitution survives though. That grand old ship deserves it.

Only in their imaginations. The People's Kommunewealth has yet to erect their version of an Iron Curtain. If the ten or fifteen people that really are "shooters", left, the rest of the blissninnies would probably just wander off and die. Then you could move back after the useless vermin that inhabit that wreck were gone.

I predict that the "shooters" of the P.D.K.M. will just bend over at the next election, and take it one more time in favor of re-electing whomever their favorite socialista politician is.

On second thought, you will most likely change the election law to allow for the election of politicians w/exploded heads, with the proviso that the carcass must be a Kennedy.

Moparmike: I knew the AG was running stings on the out of state suppliers with the intent to threaten them with fines if they continued delivering to Ma. Ordered mine before there wasn't any available from cheap out of state suppliers.

If I was Gates, there wouldn't be any surplus 308 left in the country. I have 5 m1a's to support, ya know?

Not saying that you do. I'm just saying that while MA law has done nothing about it (I grew up in MA going to school with Catholic kids, half of my family is Catholic, the other half used to be Catholic, so I know) until now.

On the other hand, MA has been hounding gun owners and treating them as suspected criminals since at least 1968. Not only is that not a secret, but it is also not by accident, or mere coincidence. Socialism cannot survive in an environment in which the creatures living in it retain a backbone. That is why socialism only works with invertebrates like ants, termites, etc...

In my experience, the only folks that still show evidence of a spinal column, are gun owners. That is why the P.D.K.M. Demorats pound on gun owners as they do.

The problem is that (again in my experience) the few that are left are slowly losing their spines to the propaganda of their respective labor unions, churches, political party. Truth be told, of the hundreds of people that I know in the People's Demoratic Kommunewealth, only 3 or 4 of them wouldn't consider trading their firearms (and their rights) for an entitlement check. 3 maybe 4.

NH isn't doing anything as well. Tough to get Catholic AG's to prosecute their own, they may go to hell if they do that. Other states like Florida are experiencing the same non-feasance by the AG to prosecute. Ma. isn't the only state not doing anything with the knowledge of the crimes by these frockers.

Ya, the Dems may be hard on us, but it's not so bad when you consider there are states where one can't carry concealed at all [ no permit system in place ]. In that regard, Ma. isn't the most friendly gun state but it certainly pales in comparison to other states which don't allow at least a percentage of their serfs to carry.

Mass. seems to be singled out to the exclusion of the states with no system in place to carry concealed. Our politicians are not the worst of the lot is all I'm saying. Look to other states for that.
