Masterpiece Arms MPA20SST

Hello all,

I'm new to the forums here, first post!! I was wondering if anyone here has shot the MPA 9mm carbine? You can see it at http://www.masterpiecearms.com/proddetail.php?prod=MPA20SST-A&cat=10

Everything I've read about MPA and their weapons is very positive, but I haven't found anyone who has actually used this specific carbine yet.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any input on accuracy, whether or not it is ammo finicky, and if anyone has seen a place to get a high capacity Drum mag

I'm going to be using it for just sport shooting, and wanted the 9mm to match my pistol ammo, as long as it will fire the cheap stuff.

I have fired one. Trigger slap hurt.

Trigger slap? Is it THAT bad?? I always thought trigger slap was a sign something was out of place in the gun... did it do it on each shot?


Anyone else have any input on this gun? I'm ordering it next week barring any major catastrophic problems that require my money.

At the GS today a fellow was selling the same make in .45, it took all day to get $400. The nine won't bring that much and they are readily available in the used market if you take the time to look around.

I own one of their Mini9 pistols - trigger slap indeed did stink for the first 50 rounds or so. After that, it disappeared... seems to be that's just what happens.
