Browsing our local antique mall I found a Pietta 1860 Army at a fair price. I knew I had one like it but was surprised when I got home to find the guns only a few numbers apart. One bought on Gunbroker from Florida and one in Apache Junction, AZ?
Holding the two matching pistols I wondered how many of you had Matching Pairs? Here are my "Pairs".

1847 Walkers - one ASM and one Uberti

1851 Navy - my Hickok Pair

    1851 Navy Brass Frame

1860 Army - the ones I mentioned in my first paragraph

    1862 Reb Revolvers

1858 Remington - One Brass Navy Arms and one Steel with no markings

Do any of you go for pairs?

    Fingers - fine collection.

Me, I don't have pictures of everything, so here's a few pairings:

Not to many identical pairs, a pair of 2nd model Dragoons, two pair of Schneider&Glassick like brass 51's, two pair of 2nd gen 51 Navies and a pair of old Uberti brass 51's. I guess I have more than I thought...

    Patersons.

A pair of 62 police pockets, pair of 2nd gen Trapper's, and these sparker's

Just about all of my guns are paired (or quadrupled!) because I use them in cowboy action matches and I like to have the same feel for my handguns. The only unpaired gus are a US Marshall and a 3rd Mod Dragoon but the rest have mates including a pair of each different manufacturer. I.E. a Uberti remington handles differently than a Euroarms or Pietta. Same for the Colt style Navies: the ASM and Uberti grips are similar but the Piettas feel way different.
