Mauser Help!!!!

I have known for awhile to avoid Mitchels Mauser like the plague, because of their nasty habit of passing off Yugo M-48s as "German K98k".:banghead:

While reading my NRA Mag like all good activist do i noticed a new ad for Mitchels Mausers so i went to their website and was prepared to be disappointed when i came across this.....

THEY HAVE REAL GERMAN K98ks $299 for the "Service Grade"

Anyone know more about these, have experience with Mitchels Mausers?
IS THIS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE????

They are real 98Ks this time but they are still Mitchells Mausers. Overpriced, deceptive ads, etc. It's believed these are Russian captures that were cleaned up some. Notice all the bolts are white? They were blue until MM got them. I hate to think of what they do to the stocks. I wouldn't expect a stock looking like the ones in the ad.

You can get a real RC 98K for less than Mitchells.

I know Mitchells seems to have gotten a bad reputation but I did buy one of the M48s about a year ago and I couldn't be happier. If I would have bought an original K98 I would have paid a lot more by the time I rebarrelled it and fixed it up. This thing was clean with a bright barrel and shoots great! Thats what I wanted it for, shooting and for a Mauser in like new shape or any rifle for that matter I didn't think $300 was that bad. Buy it and enjoy!
