Here it is with the Meopta 3-9 ranging scope Cabela's is selling under it's Instinct line. The glass is as bright and sharp as $1200 Zeiss or others in it's power range. It is very light which brings the weight in Talley mounts down to 7 1/4 pounds . The gun is sighted at 200 yards where I got 2 IMG_20201014_165717649.jpg IMG_20201014_165717649.jpg IMG_20201014_165837326_HDR.jpg 1/4 " groups from bags on a bench 1" high at 100 yards and 1/2" low at 50 yards. The scope has stadia up to 600 yards so should work well on Antelope and larger deer. I m using Hornady American Whitetail 117 grain interlock Boat tail soft point ammo I bought 200 last year to get brass for, but it is great ammo. It shoots about 3/4 Moa in my heavy Savage 112 v with a big scope. About MOA with this light Obendorf Mauser . Very fast straight pull action

Very sweet and that really is a very nice mounting job. Those straight pulls are nice; especially when chambered in .25-06 which I happen to be real fond of. When you get enough empty brass, and want to stick with bullets in the 115-120 gr. weight range then RL-22 will be your friend.

Nice job mounting the scope .

I love mine in .270. For whatever reasons it loves plain old Rem 130 gr Core Lokt factory loads over the premium ones.

I still haven’t found a hand load yet that outdoes those plain Jane rounds, only a couple that equal it.

Stay safe.
