When it comes to bolt action, center-fire rifles I am pretty predictable: I want a Mauser 98. I only have 3 bolt guns that aren't Mausers. A pair of Remington Model 30s and a Krag.
Here are some of my Mausers.
The CZ BRNOs from left to right: A 550 FS in 30-'06 with a Weaver K3; A CZ 98 also in 30-'06 built to look like a European sporter; A 1951 CZ 21H in 7x57 (a Leupold 1-4x20 is awaiting the arrival of the rings); and a 602 in 375 H&H also wearing the 1-4 Leupold.
Some other Mausers hanging around: A Colombian military 30-'06 K98 rebuilt with a laminated stock, express sights and other goodies; an original K98 left unaltered (I don't recall when I bought this but I paid $69 for it so it's been awhile); And an 8x57 M98 sporter "Guild Rifle" stamped with a Bavarian maker's name.
