Mavrick O/U HD gun

saw one the other day, but haven't found any online;
shop had it for $500; didn't seem worth it; an O/U w/18" bbls
& a top mounted rail all painted black seems overpriced for what you get.

the only thing that would make it even close to worth it is
it had screw in chokes.

anyone find these?

$500 buys one of several nice pump HD guns that are a bunch better built than the Maverick. Can't see the point.

Natman is right. Why spend $500 on a piece of junk when you can get a decked out 870 for the same price.

i'd pay $300 for a side by side or O/U for HD;

I've had an 870 w/mag extension & side saddle; nearly 12 lbs;

ETA; my go to gun for HD is a H&R 12 ga single shot w/8 rounds in a pouch on the stock; weighs around 7 lbs (including a forearm under mounted flashlight)
my backup to that is a Mavrick 20 ga. w/plug removed (5 shots) & 18" bbl; weight on
that rig is around the same.
