Well with no luck in the rifle forum.........
I just purchased an original M1A1 carbine stock, which as it turns out, is actually an original. All the markings are where they should be according to Bruce Canfields book, as well as all the identifying features (flush rivits, greenish/grey parkerizing, old walnut, cast #s in buttplate, etc. However, in trying to put a value on this thing, I can find NONE for sale on the internet to compare this too. *This was authenticated* Does anyone have any ideas?
