I'd like to see camo'd rifles. I'm gonna paint my .338 win mag rifle desert camo cause i'll be in the desert with this gun 90% of the time and thats what i prefer. Just cause i want to. No tactical reason behind it,just some fun with the gun looking cool thats all. thanks for any cool pics and or painting tips guys!

My FAL. Rattle can paint job, sure it will not last forever but it is easy t touch up or change.
 
Polane (2 part and as toxic as nuclear waste) machine paint left over from a job at work. This stuff will never, ever come off! A splatter coat of black Polane gave it a nice texture too.

This isn't a rifle...but I thought I'd post anyway.
It's my Mossberg 500 that I painted digital camo using Krylon.
If I could do it again I'd use Duracoat. If you're gonna invest a lot of time into a project you may as well make the small investment in better materials.

michaelmcgo, nice outcome (they all are really). I usually don't care for paint jobs that don't involve the usual dull/camo schemes, but I do like the way yours turned out.

ps how do you make the uploads not thumbnails????
 
My Marlin 22 mag. I need to find a good tough clearcoat for it, the rustoleum isnt tough enough.
